This is basically a clone of the LJ community. In that spirit, here are the guidelines that were posted in that group waaay back in 2006:
Fellow Stickers,
Due to some ongoing concerns regarding the creation of posts for this community, I have been advised to draw together some guidelines. These are not strict rules that will result in the death penalty if broken, so much as considerate suggestions that have become unwritten rules and need to be written down for the benefit of new members that join us.
When posting the link to the bi-weekly strip please ensure that you:
1) Link to the specific comic, not www.giantitp.com/cgi-bin/GiantITP/ootscript.
2) Avoid including references to the punchline in the subject or entry.
3) Make the post public as not all people who view the community are members.
4) Don't post a link to a strip if one has already been posted.
If you are posting spoilers or answers to cryptograms (etc.) please post the text in such a way that it won't be accidentally read by members who may not wish to read it.
Thank you for your cooperation.
Have a nice day. :)
